Xstream 9050
The Xstream 9050 Intensifier Pump is a brand new design from Continuum – the new leader in waterjet innovation. The pump uses a 50 horsepower motor to support a maximum .010” orifice at 85,000 psi continuous operation.
Features of the new Xstream 9050 include:
- Efficient use of air movement through the unit to maximize cooling
- Low-pressure water manifold which minimizes the length of hoses in the low-pressure water plumbing system
- Lightweight, lift-off side panels that give unrestricted access to all internal components
- Torsion hinge mounted top covers which do not require shocks or support rods, improving access to the high-pressure components
- High-pressure setting adjustment at the control panel
- Optional remote access of control data via a secure internet connection
Unique intensifier Design featuring the following innovations:
- 90 ksi capability from a 60 ksi sized package
- No tie rods, negating the need for special tensioning tooling, resulting in simpler maintenance procedures
- Lower intensification ratio compared to conventional 90 ksi intensifiers, resulting in a lower hydraulic flow requirement, thus being able to use a smaller hydraulic pump
